We make one red, and it bears Walter's name. The twelve grapes from the family vineyards ferment in the vat on their skins, with their own yeasts and no added sulphites. Then we keep only the free-run wine, the wine that runs off by itself: the press never touches the skins. Then the oak barrels, and the time the wine needs. The family has been making wine for over a hundred years. Today the sons of Giuseppe Lento, known in the village as Don Pino, make it as he made it with his father. Every vintage has its own run, set before bottling and never exceeded: the 2022 is 3,333 bottles, each with its own number on the label. WALTER is not sold in wine shops or online. It comes in its own wooden case, with a card signed by Walter.
